Qigong ~ (pronounced βchi gongβ - which means βlife force energy workβ) is a martial arts practice that has ancient roots in traditional Chinese medicine and philosophy. It is a movement exercise of harmonizing the physical body, breath and spirit to achieve oneness or connectedness with the universal energy. We may begin cultivating a balance of our life force energy, Qi (βchiβ), with our intention, paired with the rhythm of our breath and meditative flow of prescribed movements. Qigong aims to optimize the flow of energy throughout your whole being-ness. Where the Qi goes, the blood flows. This practice will introduce medical Qigong concepts to promote circulation of energy through the meridians (pathways for life-energy) & vital organs of our bodies. When our bodies sense this support and can find space to deepen the state of relaxation, our whole being will begin to experience benefits β (developing a positive immune response, improvement with heart health, and enhancement with mental health).*

Energy Healing
Reiki is a form of energy healing where a practitioner will be a channel for transferring universal energy through the hands and send it to the recipient or patient during treatment. It is a technique for stress reduction and deep relaxation, which ultimately promotes the healing process. βReiβ means βuniversal spiritual consciousness, higher power or cosmic knowledge.β βKiβ refers to life force energy ~ (Qi in Chinese, Prana in Sanskrit and Lung in Tibetan.) Thus, Reiki refers to βspiritually guided life force energy.β The word Reiki was already in use in Japan when Dr. Mikao Usui developed his technique, Usui Reiki Ryoho, which means βthe practice or healing arts of the Usui universal energy.β There are several Reiki systems. We will practice under the guidance and wisdom lineages of Usui Reiki Ryoho, and Integrative Shakti Reiki (developed by Dr. Raven B. Lee) that not only integrates Usui and a branch called Karuna, but also Shamanic elements & Shakti (primordial cosmic feminine) Ki energy.

Sound healing is the process of using sound frequencies, tones, vibrations to harmonize our energetic fields and attune our physical bodies. Sound therapies promote positive enhancements in our creativity, cognition, emotional well-being, and have even been applied in various medical treatments.* Sound healing is an ancient acoustic art that has been practiced by all known cultures in one form or another, with the deepest roots in shamanic rituals. Shamans are spiritual leaders who have used music & chanting to interact with the spirit world by reaching other levels of consciousness, and channel the healing energy for the people of the community. We will use various musical instruments ~ (drums, crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and more...) that produce such frequencies & resonance to allow us to journey into the vast inner space of our consciousness. Robyn approaches healing from an alternative & holistic perspective, along with a medical background as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in California. She recognizes the significance of providing compassionate care, being trauma-informed and creating a positive impact on the health of the community. All of which motivates her to do this honorable work. Robyn has experience in various clinical settings. She has provided care for adolescent and adult clients struggling with addiction, substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Her professional roles thus far have included, yet not limited to, being a care coordinator, charge nurse, and facility manager. Wearing many different hats keeps Robyn motivated to continue growing and learning on her path. She strives to be of service, to make mindful connections with people along their personal journeys, as well as her own.
